As part of our commitment to continually support shrimp farmers and government programs to increase the national shrimp production output in Indonesia, CP Prima heavily focuses on the availabilities of good quality shrimp fry produced from specific-pathogenic free (SPF) broodstocks. CP Prima operates eleven shrimp hatcheries spanned across Indonesia – Aceh, North Sumatra, Lampung, West Java, Central Java, East Java, South Sulawesi, and West Nusa Tenggara. With various advanced technologies and processes such as multi-step filtration systems using ozonation, natural food production, quality control, advanced PCR machine and laboratories, we are able to produce shrimp fries with high sustainability, traceability and quality that meet strictest global standards.

Shrimp genetic breeding from CP Prima has brought differential advantage enjoyed by many shrimp farmers in Indonesia, which is specific pathogen-free (SPF) shrimp fry with good growth rate and disease resistant characteristics.

As a proof to high quality and strict operating processes in our hatcheries, CP Prima has obtained recognition from various international bodies and agencies such as CBIB (Cara Budidaya Ikan yang Baik) and CKIB (Cara Karantina Ikan yang Baik) from MInistry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries Republic of Indonesia, Aquaculture Certification Council Inc. (ACC) through the issuance of Best Aquaculture Practices (BAP) certificate, as well as Global GAP. 

Continuing our success of shrimp hatcheries, CP Prima has widened their wings by introducing numerous fish hatcheries located across the rich lands of Indonesia. Not far from the shrimp hatcheries, our fish hatcheries are supported with latest technologies and are maintained closely for the naturalness of the ponds and environment.

CP Prima has continuously trained the local farmers in ensuring the optimum condition for the eggs to hatch, providing high quality feeds for better growth and health. Our labs and technologies are designed carefully, with high quality and latest equipment such as ozonation, water management system, and natural food production, as well as strict quality control to produce a high quality and disease-resistant fishes. To ensure that the set quality are met, our hatcheries’ needs are supplied by our self-owned broodstock production centers.

Today, our fish hatchery fries have gained trust from markets, and have been certified for our farming practices like CBIB (Best Hatchery Practice).
