In 2020, on March 2, the government announced two positive cases of Covid-19 patients in Indonesia. This is of particular concern to the people of Indonesia given the very fast spread of the virus. Policies for social distancing are carried out as a form of vigilance. Being in the midst of such conditions certainly has an impact on the activities and economy of the Indonesian people.
With this situation, of course, the role of the company in paying attention to the community is needed. Therefore, CP Prima through the program "CP Prima Cares for residents affected by Covid -19" took the initiative to provide social assistance in the form of food packages to communities affected by Covid-19 in the area around the company's area, including PS. Kemis, Cikampek, Surabaya, Anyer, Pangandaran, Lampung and Medan.
This assistance was given in stages twice, the first stage at the end of April and the second stage in mid-May. The total of basic food items distributed for the first phase was 1085 packages as well as the distribution of the second stage of 1085 packages. The contents of the basic food packages are rice, oil, sugar and several other food ingredients.
The distribution of these basic necessities is carried out in accordance with health protocols, namely without gathering large numbers of people to avoid crowds of residents and to follow social distancing and physical distancing recommendations. This assistance is one of CP Prima's efforts to ease the burden on the community around the company area.
Hopefully this pandemic can end soon so that activities can run normally and be better. Stay safe, Stay Healthy and Positive Thinking.
