In connection with the development of hatcheries, especially fish hatcheries, CP Prima strives to meet the needs of fish breeders, especially to meet the needs of fish seeds from customers who use feed from CP Prima. The quality of fish seeds is one of the determinants of fish cultivation in enlargement ponds, KJA and enlargement of fast water ponds.

CP Prima as the largest integrated company has a strong commitment to maintaining the quality standards of fish seeds produced by carrying out strict management of breeding and broodstock. Supervision of the procurement of prospective broodstock with input from technology and human resources as well as complete facilities, fish hatchery management and feed quality are all an integral part of which must be carried out with strict quality control. Research to produce better prospective broodstock and superior excellence is also being carried out, so that the fish seeds produced will also have good growth speed and endurance as expected.

To meet the need for fish seeds nationally, CP Prima's fish hatchery cannot be fulfilled independently. Therefore, CP Prima fish hatchery cooperates with the fish feed marketing team to develop a partnership pattern of fish hatcheries with farmers / entrepreneurs in people's hatcheries throughout Indonesia. Currently, this fish hatchery partnership pattern has been running, starting in Sumatra, Java, Kalimantan, Bali-Lombok and Sulawesi for the hatchery of tilapia and catfish. CP Prima fish hatchery and fish hatchery partners have been producing Black Prima (BP) tilapia seeds, Red Prima (RP) red tilapia seeds and CP catfish seeds. This fish hatchery pattern will continue to be developed to meet the increasing need for fish seeds.

The number of fish hatchery partners that continues to increase is also regularly provided with technical assistance. Supporting technicians from CP Prima who have been trained are seconded to hatchery partners in order to produce high quality fish seeds and according to the specified standards. Hatchery SOP monitoring will always be carried out, from broodstock maintenance, hatchery process, handling of fish seeds to distribution of fish seeds to customers. Monitoring of water quality and fish health is also carried out regularly in collaboration with the AHS team.
